Wednesday 11 th November 2009 saw the official opening of the new Library.

We were delighted to welcome award winning children’s author Morris Gleitzman as our guest of honour for the day. Mr Gleitzman spent time speaking to students about his life as an author and about his work. He went on to cut the ribbon at the opening ceremony before signing copies of his books for visitors and students.

All in all it was a very proud day for Paulet High School and Headteacher Mr Timms said “The opening of the new Library at Paulet High School demonstrates the school’s commitment to the education of its students. They will have outstanding facilities to allow them to learn and study to the highest standards. High skills of literacy and taking pleasure in reading enrich everyone’s life and we are glad that Paulet students have the opportunities the Library provides.”
